RUFC - Robins 'delighted' that Reid signed

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins was said to be delighted that he has captured the signature of young striker, Reuben Reid.

'He has a lot of potential,' the Millers boss told The Star. 'He's a strong boy with pace and a good first touch.'

Reid, who has impressed in the pre season friendlies for the Millers, joined Plymouth in 2005, giving up a chance to play cricket for Gloucester, to pursue his football career. While with Argyle he had loan spells with Kiddiminster Harriers and then went to Rochdale where he was sent back under a bit of a cloud prompting Plymouth manager, Ian Holloway to say, 'They didn't want him anymore, it's internal and I shall deal with it.' Reid was suspended for two weeks by the club . Since then he has been on loan with Torquay, Wycombe and Brentford.
