'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins post Scunthorpe

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, admitted that it took the team time to get going last night but was happy with the result.

Speaking to the Official Site, he said, 'In the first half I thought that although we created a decent passing move and had a shot or two we didn't create much and when we did get the ball I thought we were a bit wasteful. Scunthorpe passed it better than us and they looked good.

'In the last twenty five minutes or so we looked good and it was a lot better to watch. Ryan Taylor was outstanding and if he continues to perform like that then we'll have a real player with talent on our hands.

'It's early days and there will be no post-mortems yet. The players we have are shaping up nicely and are ready for the battle ahead but I will still be looking for new players.'
