'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Stewart 'It's frustrating'

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart, is frustrated to say the least with the Football League. It had been hoped that the Millers would have known their fate by Tuesday or Wednesday this week but, according to Mr Stewart, the League keep wanting more information.

Speaking to The Advertiser, he said, 'The League keep asking us for more information and I have sent them a file the size of the Encyclopedia Britannica but still they keep asking for more. We just want this matter resolved. I would be amazed if we don't know where we stand by early next week.'

It is understood that the Football League Chief Executive, Andy Williamson and other staff have been on holiday and a spokesman from the Football League said there has been no indication when a ruling would be made.

Mr Stewart said the situation is 'as clear as mud.'
