'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Talks Tomorrow

Rotherham United are due for further talks tomorrow about their current situation, according to The Star, today.

The Football League have requested urgent clarification on a number of issues regarding the football club, which were set out in a letter published by the Football League on Friday.

The League expressed concern over the clubs move from Rotherham to Don Valley and are demanding evidence that provision has been made for the security bond that is required to confirm that the club will move back to Rotherham within four years.

Manager, Mark Robins, told The Star, that he was confident that it would all be sorted out satisfactorily. 'I've seen the communication sent out by the Football League,' he said, 'and it does look a concern but I have confidence in the people here.

'Once it's all resolved we will know where we stand and we can move forward. I am confident we will be playing come the 9th August.

'And, from that moment, our destiny is in our own hands.'

I actually feel for you chaps and chapesses. You seem to be getting more information from newspapers than from the club. It does not seem very professional.

All we seem to get from the club is 'everything will be OK' - let's hope they are still saying that on 9th August!

Despite all this, I think you'll emerge as still league members but what kind of sanction you get will determine how long that lasts.

Do you know, CTE, I'm not sure of anything anymore - I'm away for a few days from tomorrow and it would not surprise me to come back and find we have a winding up order. All I ask if that the club come out and tell us exactly what is happening.

The silence is deafening isn't it!!!
