RUFC - Douglas 'news soon but may not all be good'

Rotherham United's Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas has told the Teamtalk.com that he hopes there will be some news soon but it might not all be good.

The Millers went into Administration in March and haven't yet settled debts to their creditors and Mr Douglas admitted today that it was hard to see the outcome being anything but negative but went on to say, 'our legal team are still working hard and I don't want to pre-empt anything. They could still come up with a solution that all parties will be happy with.'

On Friday the League published a letter they sent to the club outlining what needed doing and that it needed doing quickly, with one major doubt being over the re-location to Don Valley. Another thing the letter stated was that all the paperwork hadn't been completed and Mr Douglas said, 'Completing all the paperwork takes time but we have never wavered in our commitment to meet the League's demands.

'Our message to our fans is for them to keep their ears and eyes open and hopefully there will be some news soon, though it might not all be good news. But, we are as committed as ever to make sure the League have all the information needed to allow us to start the new season.'
