'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ex-Skipper 'Be Kind to Millers'

Rotherham United's ex-skipper, Graham Coughlan has pleaded with the Football League to be lenient with the club as they wait to hear their fate this week.

Coughlan, who signed for Shrewsbury Town last week, told The Star, 'I hope the League are kind to Rotherham and help them rather than hinder them. The new chairman has worked night and day to sort out the club and he needs a bit more time and a bit of breathing space.

'The Millers have the potential to have a really good season - let's hope they are not robbed by the politics of football for the third year running.'
