'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - League Decision Within Twenty-Four Hours?

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart, expects to know in the next twenty-four hours what fate the Football League have for the club.

Stewart appeared 'buoyant' after meetings yesterday with Lord Triesman, Chairman of the Football Association and Sir Dave Richards, Chairman of the Football Foundation and speaking to the Yorkshire Post, said, 'We believe we have satisfied the Football Foundation and this will give the Football League everything they need in order to return our football share and also to give us direction on the points situation.'

The club cannot reclaim League status until they get back the League Share which was suspended in March when the club entered administration. Let's hope this is done sooner rather than later as time is definitely running out with the first game scheduled for this coming Saturday.

It's the waiting that's always the worst isn't it - but I think we (and Bournemouth) have waited long enough
