'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'The Clubs Reborn'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, said that the 'club is reborn' after his side knocked Championship side Sheffield Wednesday out of the Carling Cup last night at Hillsborough.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, 'It's a totally different club to what it was last season - there's good things going to be happening here.

'The pleasing thing about last night was that we came out of it relatively unscathed - that and we've given our supporters bragging rights for a little while.'

Talking about the penalty shoot out he said, 'The players have to take credit for that. Shooting into the Kop end proved to be more stressful for the Wednesday players than ours. We had a feeling for Reuben at the end so we put him down to take the last one and he put it away.

'Hopefully, this is the start of a decent Cup run. We haven't had one for a long time and it's money in the bank.

'Winning is a good habit to have - it breeds confidence. And, we gave our supporters something to cheer about.'
