RUFC - Reuben on his first Millers goal

Rotherham United, striker, Reuben Reid, joined in the summer after being on loan at various clubs in the last three seasons. He made an impression in the pre-season friendlies, capping it off with a stunning goal against Scunthorpe. But his first League goal for his new club was the winner against Lincoln City at Don Valley last Saturday.

Speaking to MillersWorld, about his opening goal, the twenty-year old said, 'It was a nice feeling. And it was topped by a good team performance. Getting a win in the first game was a good feeling.

'The lads here are a good bunch and I'm enjoying my time here - training and we got off to a good start with the games.

'A lot has been made about Don Valley but I quite like it. The pitch isn't as bad as I thought it would be and when it's wet the ball zips around.'

Reuben was asked about the minus seventeen points, 'To be honest when you are expecting something it isn't that much of a surprise. The quicker we can get back to zero the quicker we can start to climb up the league and that will be better for our supporters.'
