'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - 'Couldn't have asked for better start'

Rotherham United were three-one winners today at Morecambe and manager, Mark Robins, was delighted.

'It's a different feeling to last time we came here,' he told the Official Site. 'I thought we controlled the game from start to finish. Morecambe are a strong physical side but we coped with everything they threw at us.

'The two goals Mark Lynch scored were outstanding and the build up and movement for Ryan Taylor's goal was excellent.

'The Sheffield Wednesday game took a lot out of the players and there are a few tired legs around at the moment. To perform like we did today was a testament to our fitness. But,' he warned, 'we must guard against any complacency in the camp.

'We played some good football today and to cap it came away with three points infact, the only blemish I could pick out was the goal that we conceeded.

'Credit must go to the players who have had an outstanding week and wins and goals will breed confidence.'

Certainly been an excellent start for the Millers. Shame I cant say the same about us.
Impish
I am really surprised with the Imps. I really thought you would be one of the ones to race up the league this season - should we be thinking of changing our predictions!!!!!
