RUFC - Crawford on coming home

Rotherham United have appointed ex winger, Alan Crawford, as Chief Scout and he told the Official Site that he is delighted to be back working for the club.

'I've kept in touch with people like John Breckin and last year I spoke on a number of occasions with Mark Robins so when he phoned to see if I'd like the job as Chief Scout I was delighted to accept.

'I've always kept an eye on what's been happening at Rotherham United and watched out for the results.

'It's an exciting time to be re-joining the club with the new owners in place and things going well on the pitch.

'I'm really looking forward to getting started.'

Alan watched the Reserves beat Bradford Reserves yesterday afternoon at Don Valley and last night accompanied Mark Robins to Hillsborough to watch the Owls v Blades Reserve game.
