'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Warrington 'We are really chuffed'

Rotherham United can thank a lot of people for their win over Championship Wolves in the Carling Cup last night, not least, goalkeeper, Andy Warrington who pulled off a couple of wonderful saves, one in the penalty shoot-out at the end.

Speaking to RotherFM, Warrington said, 'I've taken one penalty and missed it so I'd rather be in the goal than taking them! I look how the taker is placing the ball and then make my mind up which way to go. We missed the first one but we knew it was only the first one and it would be OK.

'I had little to do in the game - one save early doors of the second half. But the boys in front of me were magnificent tonight. You know, Wolves will be up there challenging for a Premiership place come the end of the season and I thought today's performance was better than the one against Sheffield Wednesday.

'I haven't given the next round much thought but the teams who are in Europe come into it. So, perhaps a Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool away although we've got a big stadium here too.

'Before we went out tonight we had a chat and we decided to go out and enjoy it which we did and I'm really chuffed.'
