'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'A Great Night'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, couldn't help but be happy after his League Two side took another Championship scalp in the second round of the Carling Cup last night.

'Overall I thought we deserved to go through,' he told the Official Site. 'Wolves created one or two chances and we were pegged back at times but we expected that against a team that has quality all over the pitch and who will be in the shake up for promotion. That makes the victory even more pleasing. And, it doesn't concern me who we get in the next round as long as it's a good draw.

'Pablo Mills and Ryan Taylor have been free of the virus that they had for thirty-six hours and they wanted to play tonight. It was useful to be able to bring them on in extra time and help us over the finishing line.

'The confidence is running through the squad and I think what we've been through has made us stronger. I am delighted with the result tonight and we know we have to keep it going because things can change so quickly in football.

'We are enjoying the cup run but we won't get carried away. We have another tough game on Saturday away at Brentford and we have to get ready for that now.'
