'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'can't let standards drop'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has told The Star that the the football club couldn't have done much more in the first month of the season.

'This month was just what everyone wanted,' the Manager of the Month said. 'The trick is now, not to let standards drop. We have to strive to continue and even to improve. Let's not forget we are still on minus points.'

Speaking about his Manager of the Month Award, he carried on, 'I received the award. But it was really on behalf of the players and staff who have worked incredibly hard and they all deserve a big pat on the back.

'I'd also like to dedicate it to the fans. Our supporters have had a difficult summer, losing their ground and not knowing if there would be a team to support. But they have stood by us magnificently and got behind the team and I'm happy that we've been able to give them something to cheer about and I'm sure they will stick by us.

'We've had a good month last month - why can't we have another good month?'

Couldn't see it going to anyone else to be honest well played and well deserved.

No, I don't think it could have either, codbater. One in the eye for the FL!
