RUFC - Robins Regrets Having To Swap Team Round

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, lost both centre-halves, Ian Sharps and Nick Fenton during the game on Saturday at Saltergate and he thinks that might have been a factor in the loss.

Sharps didn't appear after the half-time break and has a stomach injury and Fenton left the pitch with fifteen minutes to go with cramp.

'We lost Ian with a stomach injury which might have come from his hernia, we are waiting to see the outcome and Nick went off with cramp which we will have to look at. Both Nick and I are concerned about this as he's a fit lad. Losing two centre-halves in the game does affect you and I think it probably had an effect on goal.'

Pablo Mills switched positions at half-time for Sharps and Jamie Green, who isn't the tallest player in the world, came on for Fenton.

'They were all disappointed in the dressing room after the game,' he told The Star, 'and I don't think they will need much lifting.'
