RUFC - Millers to pick up £10,000 from TV

Rotherham United's Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas, says the club are meeting with South Yorkshire Police to talk about policing the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Leeds United.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Mr Douglas said, 'Policing costs can sometimes be phenonimal and, while we have not factored the Johnstone's Paint Trophy into our budget we want to make sure we are not going to be paying to play this game. We have a reasonable relationship with South Yorkshire Police and we are hoping there will be a reasonable outcome.'

Mr Douglas also said there were no truth in the rumours that Leeds wanted to switch the game to Elland Road.

The Advertiser says that the club will pick up around ten thousand pounds for the game from Sky Sports.

The game will be All Ticket with no pay on the day facilities and tickets are priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for concessions and are available from the offices at Barbot Hall.
