RUFC - Cummins 'It's been difficult'
Rotherham United's Micky Cummins hasn't been able to get in the team much since he joined the club in the summer and he admits that it's been hard.
Speaking to TheAdvertiser, the midfielder said, 'You have to get used to new surroundings and to be honest it's been difficult. You can play in training and in the Reserves but it's playing ninety minutes of first team action where you really get your form and confidence.'
Last Saturday, Cummins came on at half-time for Ian Sharps at Saltergate and he says, 'The gaffer encouraged me to get up in attack and I was making runs but the ball was either going out of play or into the goalkeeper's hands. I only really had half a chance and I scuffed that wide. It was a horrible way to lose but as soon as the ball left Alan Goodall's head you knew it was going in. We don't want to feel like that again and we have to put it behind us, pull our socks up and bounce back this weekend.'
