RUFC - Reid 'an enigma'

RUFC - Reid 'an enigma'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has told Reuben Reid that he wants more from him.

The twenty-year old scored the equalising goal in time added on against Rochdale on Saturday and very nearly got a winner, but Robins came very close to taking the player off.

'I was toying with the idea of taking him off,' Robins admitted to The Star, 'but I had an idea he could do what he did.

'Before the game he told me he'd score two - and he nearly did! He's an enigma. He might not be in the game for eighty minutes but then do something. Take him off and you take off one of our goal threats. But I look overall and ask if he's given us enough and the answer is 'no.''

'He has to learn that he can't be his own gaffer, he has to listen. If he doesn't then he will be sat with me. If I ask him to do a specific job then he has to do it.'
