'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Mills Post Rochdale

Rotherham United skipper, Pablo Mills, has told RotherFM that he thinks the team has showed character this season.

Speaking after the draw against Rochdale on Saturday, the defender said, 'We've only lost one game all season and I think we worked hard for the draw.

'It might not have gone for us today and the sending off changed the game, giving us more space. I know with the strikers we have if we get a chance we will score and that's just what we did. It was a good finish from Reuben (Reid) and I hope he can carry on from there and score more. And, we could have snatched it right at the end but it wasn't to be and we had to settle for the draw.'

At two down and looking like they were on their way to a first home defeat the Millers were gifted an own goal from McArdle who back headed the ball over his own 'keeper. Then, the referee, gave six minutes of time added on and Reuben Reid got the equaliser on the ninety-fifth minute.

Mills praised the referee, 'Well done to the ref for making sure he got the added time right. It gave us a bit of a boost and gave us time to get ourselves back in it.'
