RUFC - Extra Buses to Don Valley

RUFC - Extra Buses to Don Valley

Rotherham United and First Group have got together and sorted out cheap travel to Don Valley for Season Ticket holders.

You will be able to travel from anywhere in Rotherham to Don Valley Stadium and back for just £2 with the production of your season ticket. The Official Site also says that the scheme will involve Football Specials shuttling between Rotheram Interchange and Don Valley Stadium on match days. These buses will go from the 69 bus stand and will be extra to the already 69 bus service.

At the end of the game the buses will pick up at the bus stops that football fans would normally wait for the 69 bus back into town.

Chief Operating Officer, Paul Douglas, says, 'We are grateful to First Group for the time and effort they have taken to make this happen. Our aim has always been to make the move to Don Valley as smooth as possible and this scheme represents another move in the right direction.'
