RUFC - Robins pleased with performance

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, told Radio Sheffield, that he thought we deserved the win today.

He admitted that the game wasn't great and said, 'It was always going to be a tough game, more so because of the media attention we got today. They had the spotlight on both teams because it's the first game between teams with minus points and also with Mick (Harford) coming back they made a bit more of it. But for us today was always about getting three points and I think we deserved them.

'I thought we looked OK and that we could have gone on and scored more. What was frustrating was the times we gave the ball away needlessly. I thought the defence was magnificent and they dealt with everything that Luton threw at them.

'I swapped players around today to give the team a more balanced look because we've looked off balance the last couple of games. It was a fortunate goal that we won with but I was pleased with both the points and the performance today.'
