'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Broughton 'pleased to be here'

Rotherham United goalscorer, Drewe Broughton, says he is pleased to be at the club and happy to get his first goal last night.

Speaking to RotherFM, he said, 'It's been an unbelievable start to the season and personally it's a pleasure to be here. I'm settle and the dressing room is fantastic and there's a lot of good spirit about and they are a good set of lads.'

Talking about the win over Southampton he carried on, 'I thought I'd scored two! But my goal was a simple tap in and that's OK. It was pleasing that the first goal came from a set piece and the second one came from a corner as well - it was a great strike from Danny (Harrison). Reuben (Reid) puts in some great work down the right - we don't know what he's going to do half the time never mind the defenders! They didn't seem to carry out much in front of us though they scored a great goal. Luckily we went down the other end and got another.

'It's back to earth on Saturday. Dagenham is never a nice place to go but hopefully I'll get another goal.'
