RUFC - Robins 'a lot of belief in the squad'
Rotherham United should have easily won at Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday with manager, Mark Robins, saying that they could have had six goals in the first half. But, instead they found themselves having to fight back from being one down to getting a point at the end.
Speaking to The Star, Robins says, 'We had enough chances to win three games in the first half. And when Dagenham scored at the start of the second half it would have been easy to think that it was going to go against us. But, we changed one or two things, kept going and got our reward. And then we were looking for the winner at the end - that's belief and there is a lot of belief in the squad. Coming through the administration and the points deduction has mentally toughened the players. It has helped us on days like Saturday, when it might not seem to be your day, to stage a fightback. It's belief and a good attitude.'
