RUFC - Lynch to have Op

Rotherham United's Mark Lynch is to have an exploratory operation on the shoulder he injured in the game against Luton Town earlier this month.

He has seen a specialist and, although the injury has settled down, the club want to know the extent of any damage. This will determine if he needs corrective surgery or just rest.

Speaking to The Star, Manager, Mark Robins, said, 'This is a blow for Mark as he had a good start to the season.'

Mark signed for the Millers in the summer from Yeovil Town and, until he went off in the final minute of the Luton game at Don Valley, he had started every game this season.

Mine too, Bez! He just seemed to slot in the team as though he'd always played there!
