RUFC - Head-to-Head v Grimsby Town

Grimsby travel to Don Valley on Saturday with a dismal record of just 2 wins in 21 League games at former ground, Millmoor.
These wins came in March 2003, when a solitary goal from John Oster won the game for the visitors in the 90th minute, and in March 1991 when the Mariners humbled the Millers by 4 goals to 1.
2 goals from Tony Rees, 1 from Neil Woods and a Mark Dempsey own goal gave Grimsby the points.
Clive Mendonca hit a consolation for Rotherham.

Last time out however saw the home side victorious on 3rd November 2007.
This win lifted the Millers into the play off positions against Grimsby who occupied 20th place.
Mark Hudson opened the scoring on 39 minutes after Chris O'Grady and Marc Newsham combined to set the midfielder up for his first ever Millers goal in just his second start.
8 minutes after the interval, a Danny Bushell corner was met by the head of Nick Fenton and the current Millers powerful header saw it fly past Andy Warrington for the equaliser.
However, Fenton was dismissed just 9 minutes later for his second bookable offence after receiving yellows for fouls on Newsham and Danny Harrison.
Rotherham took advantage of this and scored the winner on 77 minutes, when an Ian Sharps cross was met on the volley by O'Grady to hit the ball past former Rotherham keeper, Gary Montgomery.
