RUFC - Paddy On the Mend

Rotherham United's broken leg victim, Stephen Brogan, had a boost at the beginning of the week when his surgeon signed him off.

'Paddy' suffered his break in February against MK Dons and has been battling to get fit ever since. Now, with the surgeon discharging the midfielder, he will be able to step up his training to the next level.

At the open forum on Wednesday, manager, Mark Robins, said, 'Stephen has been working ever so hard.' and he told The Advertiser that the surgeon taking the decision to sign him off will give him a massive phychological boost. 'It means we will be able to step up his fitness work and push him forward. He will still need to go to Lilleshall but we'll decide when the time is right for that.

'We haven't put a timescale on his return because if he doesn't meet that he will be disappointed.'

Great news for the young lad this - keep fighting, Paddy!
