RUFC - Lynch long lay off

Rotherham United defender, Mark Lynch, looks like being out of action for two months.

Lynch, who joined the Millers in the summer, suffered a shoulder injury in the dying minutes of the game at Don Valley against Luton Town. According to RotherFM an exploratory operation has shown the injury is worse than first thought.

For me, Lynch is the one, brought in during the summer, who has settled the quickest and I think we will miss him. Saying that, Dale Tonge came back in his place and against Southampton played a blinder! He did OK last weekend against Dagenham and Redbridge too. So, perhaps, when Lynch is fit he will have to fight for his place back - which can only be good for the club.

There are also doubts over midfielder, Danny Harrison, for tomorrow's game against Grimsby Town.
