RUFC - Nostalgia Society

Rotherham United Nostalgia Society's guest on Thursday evening will be the ex Miller's striker, Lee Glover.

Lee started his career with Nottingham Forest in 1986 before moving to Port Vale eight years later. It was from Vale that he joined the Millers and played for the club between 1996 - 2000. He found his first season difficult and only scored one goal in nineteen League and Cup starts but the following season was doing well, including four goals in one game against Hull City, until he limped off during a Cup game in January with a hamstring injury. He was out for fifteen months and found it difficult to get back in the team. From Rotherham he went to Macclesfield, Mansfield, Burton and Corby.

Lee will be talking and answering questions about his career at the meeting which takes place on Thursday, 9 October at The Prince of Wales, Masbrough starting at 8.30pm.

Everyone is welcome.
