'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins Pre Leeds

Rotherham United entertain Leeds United this evening in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. And, Millers Manager, Mark Robins, won't be wanting to go out, like they did last season at this stage, of the competition.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, 'It would be nice to go further this year than last and we are going into this game with a load of confidence.'

On Saturday, the Millers finally got into plus points in the League, after their 4-1 win at home to Grimsby and Robins said, 'We've done exceptionally well to overcome the seventeen points deficit. It's a good achievement but we've still a long way to go. Our first aim is to avoid relegation but, if we get to a stage where we are safe then we would have to re-assess our aims.

'Leeds are a big club with an amazing history but tonight it's not about Leeds, it's about us and how we can put them under pressure. There's no substitute for hard work and tonight is another opportunity to test ourselves.'

Tonights game is ALL TICKET. There will be no pay-on-the-day facilities. Millers fans have until 3.00pm to get tickets from the Barbot Hall office.
