RUFC - Broughton 'joined because of Robins'

Rotherham United centre forward, Drewe Broughton has made no secret that one of the main reason's he joined the Millers was because of Manager, Mark Robins.

Speaking to The Star, Broughton said, 'Mark Robins is a hungry young manager. He's from the Manchester United school and is very determined.'

Drewe joined the Millers in the summer after being at a number of clubs throughout his career, including Norwich, Wigan, MK Dons and Wrexham and he said he wasn't fazed that Rotherham was in administration when he joined, 'I wasn't short of offers this summer,' the twenty-nine year old admitted,' and the closer the seasons gets you do start to wonder if you made the right choice. But, I saw Rotherham as a good opportunity in my career and I'm glad I chose them.

'Confidence is fantastic at the moment and I think it showed on Saturday after going one down and, not playing well in the first half, we showed our strength of character in the second half and turned it round.

'My main aim is to give my best, which I've done since I got here. I don't set myself targets because I'd be disappointed if I didn't make them.

'I'm really enjoying working with Mark and the lads and it's a pleasure to be a Rotherham player.'
