'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Rhodes 'Just one of those days'

Rotherham United striker, Alex Rhodes said he was disappointed in yesterday's performance.

Speaking to RotherFM the twenty-six year old said, 'It wasn't the best of games and we didn't play as well as we should have done. We started well but the goal wouldn't come. Then they slowed their game down a lot which didn't help us and they defended well. We had a couple of chances in the first half and the same in the second half but not as many as compared to previous games. Their goal was scrappy, he just got a toe-poke. It was a lacklustre performance.

'Wycombe are a good passing team and they are playing well. We hope we can bounce back on Saturday and get back to winning ways.

'We've got a good side here and there are a lot of good players. Last night was just one of those days.'

'ONE OF THOSE DAYS' IS UNACCEPTIBLE.... IT'S LIKE 'ONE OF THOSE DAYS' AGAINST CHESTERFIELD AND 'ONE OF THOSE DAYS' AGAINST BARNET... AND THE PERFORMANCE AGAINST MACCLESFIELD , ALTHOUGH WE WON LOOKED JUST LIKE ANOTHER 'ONE OF THOSE DAYS' TOTALLY SHOCKING AND NO EXCUSE AT ALL.......

So, 1884, have you never had an 'off day' then?
