RUFC - Pablo ' we have to up our game'

Rotherham United skipper, Pablo Mills, says the team are going to have to 'up' their game to take on the clubs that are coming up in the next couple of months.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Mills said, 'We've played two of the top teams now in Darlington and Bury and we've won one and lost one. We really need to pull out the results against these sides if we are going to build on the good start we've had. Every game is a big one for us now and we have to raise our game and get some points. We're all in this together and as captain there is only so much I can do. I place a lot of pressure on myself to try and get people up for games.'

Mills says he doesn't want a repeat of the performance on Tuesday night against Darlington, which, personally, I thought was the worst performance I've seen from a Millers team in a long time. Mills himself has looked off pace and some of his passing has been well off target and he is the first to admit this. Though, I thought he played a little better Tuesday (or perhaps the others played a little worse?). Speaking about Tuesday night, he said, 'You are going to get those days. The atmosphere was flat and we failed to raise the tempo. Darlington came to unsettle us and it worked and other teams know how we play at home and they are going to come and try to do the same. We need to be cuter.

'Personally, I've not had the best of form but I'll keep going and keep giving one hundred per cent and it will come right for me. We have to go back to the drawing board, get our heads together and get a result this weekend.'
