RUFC - Robins before tomorrows game

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, says that tomorrow's game against Leicester City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy will probably be too soon for Reuben Reid although, Nick Fenton will probably be back in contention.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Robins said, 'Fenton got a kick on the top of his foot but it seems to have settled down a bit now. Reuben's injury isn't as bad as we first thought but perhaps tomorrow will be too early for him although he should make Saturday's game. The bulk of the players came through unscathed so I have most of the squad to pick from for tomorrows game.'

He was asked about Omar Garcia and said, 'I thought he did OK. He's got a good first touch and had a decent ninety minutes. I still think he's short of match fitness - he had a set back when he got a gash on his leg and it got infected. But, as long as he performs like that he'll be in or around the squad.

'I thought on Saturday, we kept the ball better and moved the ball better than we have been doing. We could have won it or we could have lost it because we gave them too many chances. And normally Mickey Cummins, with that header, will stick them in from there. We created one or two chances and I don't think it was a bad performance against a side that's caused problems for nearly every team in the league'
