RUFC - Mills 'disappointed' over Stoke result

Rotherham United captain, Pablo Mills, didn't think the Millers disgraced themselves when they lost on Tuesday to Premiership team Stoke City.

'I thought we matched them especially in the first half and I am disappointed because I thought we did enough to get something out of the game.

'As captain I am proud of every player and not just against Stoke, but right through the cup run. It's been an exciting journey and we've put a lot of hard work in and it's a shame it had to end. When we got that first win at Hillsborough we couldn't have dreamed we'd get as far as we did. The cup is about testing yourselves against better teams and that's what we did. The wins against Wolves and Southampton will go into the memory but the penalty shoot-out win at Hillsborough was special.

'But, now it's back to the bread and butter and it will be another tough one at Gillingham. There's a lot of games at the moment but the gaffer knows what he's doing and we'll be having ice baths and other things to keep right. And, every player knows how to look after himself. Right now it's about keeping the momentum going and playing well.'

THEY DIDN'T DISGRACE THEMSELVES BUT THEY DIDN'T DO JUSTICE TO THE FANS EITHER OR THE ONES WHO WENT TO THEIR FIRST GAME WHO MAY WELL HAVE CONTINUED THEIR SUPPORT IF THEY HAD SEEN SOMETHING TO ENJOY..OPPERTUNITY LOST ..
