RUFC - Robins 'no positives from game'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has told MillersWorld that he hopes the team can bounce back on Tuesday night after the defeat on Saturday.

'We're lucky that we've got a game on Tuesday and hopefully we can bounce back,' Robins said. 'I think the four-nil scoreline makes it look worse than it was. The sending off made it doubly difficult and it was a difficult surface for both sides. I made one or two changes to the team and, I don't want to make any excuses, but we've played a lot of games and I think it's taken it's toll a bit.

'We started slowly and were lucky to be only one down at half time. But at one down you are always in it and we did have some goalmouth action - we hit the crossbar and had a couple cleared off the line. We just didn't stick it in the back of the net. And, they didn't have to do a great deal to get four goals.

'It is difficult to dismiss a performance like this and there are no positives to bring from the game. Andy Warrington has a shoulder injury which we will have to monitor, Danny Harrison is out for three games and Reuben Reid picked up his fifth booking.'
