RUFC - Garcia always wanted to play in England

Rotherham United's Spanish striker, Omar Garcia says that he loves London - but it is very busy! Which is probably why he ended up in Rotherham!

Speaking to The Star, the former Athelic Bilbao player said, 'Ever since I was young I always wanted to come and live in England. I love London but it is very busy and so I like to go once a month to see the sights.'

The twenty-five year old is living in Doncaster and he says he likes it there and it is handy for both the training ground and the 'English for Speakers of Other Language' course that he has enrolled in.

'The people here are friendly and my English teacher is great. I have lessons twice a week and my English is improving. I have got into the first team and I feel very at home and even though everyone says it's really cold here I don't think it's that bad.'

Omar, who signed a one year deal with the Millers, made his debut against Wycombe Wanderers at Don Valley at the beginning of November. He started the game last weekend at Gillingham but was taken off after Danny Harrison's red card. I have to say, I was disappointed that he wasn't involved in the game on Tuesday night.
