RUFC - Please, leave Tonge where he is!

Rotherham United captain, Pablo Mills, had to go off on Tuesday night with a stomach injury.

Manager, Mark Robins, is hopeful that he will respond to treatment and be fit to lead the team on against Bradford on Saturday. And, there is the added problem that Danny Harrison is serving the second match of his three suspended.

But, Les Payne of The Star says if he isn't fit, then Robins has midfield options of Micky Cummins, Mark Hudson and Peter Holmes - oh, and that, if necessary, Dale Tonge could deputise there.

No! I plead with Mark Robins to please leave Dale Tonge where he is! The twenty-two year old has been practically the only bright spot in the last few games and is playing his heart out for the team and, in my lowly opinion, is getting better and quicker the more he plays. His passing into the box is getting more precise and there is always a chance he will have a shot at goal.

So, my memo to the manager is give Peter Holmes a chance in midfield. bring Andy Todd back, give young David Haggerty a chance (though I know he's not really a midfielder), put John Breckin on - but please, please, please, leave Dale Tonge where he is!
