RUFC - McCall 'Millers deserve credit'

Rotherham United entertain Bradford City at Don Valley in the league tomorrow and know they have a lot to prove to the fans after not only losing the last three games but not scoring any goals either.

On Tuesday the Millers lost in the replay of the FA Cup to Aldershot and in the sparse crowd was Bradford City Manager, Stuart McCall. As he was walking out at the end of the game (so he was one of us who stopped then!) he heard Millers fans saying that if they play, like they did that night, against Bradford then they would get thrashed. McCall doesn't believe that one bit as he told the Telegraph and Argus, 'I'm not daft enough to believe that! No two games are the same and we've seen how well Rotherham have done, under difficult circumstances, already this season.

'On normal circumstances they would have been one point behind us on twenty-six and they've had some terrific cup results. They've had good results at home even though it's hard to create an atmosphere because the stands are so far away from the pitch. But, I'm sure they will raise their game infront of a larger crowd.

'The manager, players and supporters deserve every bit of credit going and, make no mistake about it, we know we have to play well on Saturday.'
