RUFC - Stockdale on the Bradford game

Rotherham United brought in goalkeeper, David Stockdale on Thursday as cover for injured Andy Warrington. David, who is at Fulham, has experience at League Two level with Darlington and is with the Millers for a month.

Speaking to MillersWorld after the defeat on Saturday, he said, 'I think the second goal was my fault and I believe I should have saved it, although the gaffer said it took a funny bounce.

'I came up Thursday, trained Friday and played Saturday and the result was a major disappointment. We played them off the park and they had about three shots on target. I'm happy with my debut but very disappointed.

'Life at Fulham is like a dream come true. It's hard to explain coming from the likes of Darlington and York - it's very up market. My experience with them has been unbelievable. Both goalies at Fulham are my friends and they both wished me luck when I came here.

'I wanted to get a few games under my belt and a few clubs came in for me. I came to Rotherham because it's close to home and I know Mickey Cummins. I hope to get as many points for Rotherham as possible while I'm here and to play as well as possible. They are a typical League Two side who like to have a laugh and a joke and what I like is that the Manager is close to the team. The gaffer brought me in for a bit of experience and in the short time I've been here I've seen that the team have a togetherness.'

Doesn't he have a crazy stat where is saved 7 of the nine penalties Darlo conceded last season, and kept a clean sheet in over 50% of the games he played in? May have remembered it wrong, but i rememeber thinking wow! Hope he does well for you guys and wish you all the best for the rest of the season!
