'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Polls from November on Vital Rotherham

Vital Rotherham's polls at the start of November were mostly to do with the Cup Competitions, the first one being Will we be in the next round of the JPT? and 83% of those who voted were correct by saying, Yes we would.

The FA Cup polls about our games with Aldershot were:
For the first game, What will we do against Aldershot? The majority thought we would go to the Recreation Ground and lose with only 17% predicting the draw. The question asked for the Replay game at Don Valley was How many goals will we score? The answer was, of course, none with 54% getting that correct.

Our game in the Carling Cup against Premiership Stoke City came after the 1-1 draw at Aldershot and the polls and results were
Who Will Score First at Stoke
Drewe Broughton (35%)
Reuben Reid (25%)
Other Miller (15%)
Stoke Player (15%)
Richie Barker (5%)
Mickey Cummins (5%)

and
Will we win at Premiership Stoke!!!
Afraid not (46%)
It's the Cup - anything could happen! (31%)
Of course we will! (14%)
We'll scrape through (9%)

As we know, Stoke won the game 2-0.

The next poll was
Can we bounce back against Gillingham
Nope (65%)
Of course we can! (30%)
Probably (5%)

Unfortunatley, the 'nopes' were correct on this as we lost 4-0 at Don Valley.

Where's the problem with the team at the moment?
Up front (52%)
Midfield (30%)
In defence (14%)
Other (4%)

And, as we aren't getting the ball in the back of the net, despite getting chance after chance, I suppose the 52% are correct.

At the end of November, which wasn't a very good one for the Millers I asked What do you think of the Millers season so far?
The results were:
More or less what I expected (61%)
Better than expected (23%)
Thought we'd be higher than we are (8%)
Poor (4%)
I'm surprised we are still around! (4%)

I was quite surprised at this result as there had been a lot of moans and groans, doom and gloom, surrounding the club, yet most people seemed to think the team were doing what they had expected with some thinking we'd done better than expected.

If anyone has any ideas for future polls any suggestion would be welcome!
