RUFC - Burchill hoping for chance

RUFC - Burchill hoping for chance

Rotherham United striker, Mark Burchill made a stake for a recall to the first team this week when he scored a goal for the Reserves at York - although, the goal won't actually count as the game was abandoned at half-time due to a freezing pitch.

Burchill, who joined the Millers in the summer from Dunfermline, has scored two goals from four starts this season and Manager, Mark Robins, told The Advertiser that the team had been playing a style that didn't suit the twenty-eight year old. 'He hasn't had a run in the team,' Robins admitted, 'but when he has had chances he hasn't really impressed. Saying that, he did look lively in the Reserves the other night.'
