RUFC - Signed Mills Shirt in Auction

Vital Rotherham have come to hear about a young man who is doing some good for children who are a bit less fortunate than himself.

Christopher Whileman has organised an auction on Boxing Day with all proceeds going to Smile Train and amongst the things being auctioned is a signed Pablo Mills shirt.

Smile Train is a charity that focuses on solving one problem and that's cleft lip and palate. Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where millions of children suffer with unrepaired clefts. Because of this they are unable to eat or speak correctly, not allowed to attend school or hold down a job and face a life full of shame and isolation. But, it doesn't have to be like this. Every single child with a cleft can be helped with surgery that takes as little as 45 minutes and costs as little as $250 (around £165)

Christopher himself had a cleft and completed his surgery around eighteen months ago and has been raising money for Smile Train ever since.

He thought, as Pablo is a Miller, we might be interested in sending in bids for the signed shirt.

If anyone would like to put in a bid for the shirt then please let me know, by pm before Christmas Day. As we are the first people being given a chance at bidding then we really need to get the ball rolling and that means your best bids please.
Wouldn't it be great if a shirt signed by the Millers skipper could pay for one of these children to have surgery?

And, what a great late Christmas present this would make for any Pablo fan or any Millers fan - and how wonderful to know that you were helping a child learn to smile.

So come on, get your bids in as soon as possible.
