RUFC - Newsham has to 'knuckle down'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Roibns, has sent striker, Marc Newsham out on loan for the second time this season.

The twenty-one year old picked up an injury during pre-season and was sent out to Gainsborough Trinity of the Conference North to try and get his fitness back but Robins said it didn't really work out for him there. He's now on a months loan with Unibond League side Sheffield FC and Robins told The Advertiser, 'I've sent him out on loan to get games because he can't get them here. I feel he needs games at different levels to give him a kick start. It didn't work out for him at Gainsborough but he still has talent and has a little bit of time on his side. But he's got to knuckle down and catch up.'

Marc is twenty-one and a product of the Youth system at Rotherham. He made a few appearances from the subs bench between 2004 and 2006 making his first team debut the season after. He scored four goals for the first team last season.
