RUFC - Robins 'forget Christmas'

RUFC - Robins 'forget Christmas'

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has a bit more on his mind than a big man in a red coat coming down his chimney, at the moment.

After the Millers got their first win in seven at Accrington last weekend, the Millers boss wants them to build on it and start to climb the table. Speaking to The Advertiser, he said, 'We need to come out of Christmas hitting our points target. It's a big ask to play two games in three days and we have to make sure we're up for it. It might be Christmas but the players will be in for training on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as in the spare time between the Port Vale and Notts County games. It's business as usual here and that means picking up league points. The players will be spending some time with their families and then it's on with the job in hand.'
