RUFC - Vital Man of the Month - DECEMBER

Rotherham Vital voters have come up with a couple of Millers Men of the Month for the last month of 2008!

The two players most voted for during December were - STEVEN CANN and JAMIE GREEN

Goalkeeper, Cann, was one of three players voted for when we played Shrewsbury at the beginning of December. He came on after David Stockdale received a red card. He was voted Man of the Match outright in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win against Darlington where he saved two penalties in the shoot-out to help send the Millers through to the area final against Scunthorpe.

Defender, Green, was picked as joint Man of the Match twice! Once against Shrewsbury and the second time in the last game of the year when the Millers beat Notts County three-nil.

Well Done to Steven and Jamie!

The December Man of the Match Votes went like this:

v Shrewsbury - JAMIE GREEN/ STEVEN CANN/ RYAN TAYLOR
v Darlington (in the JPT) - STEVEN CANN
v Accrington Stanley - MARK BURCHILL
v Port Vale - DAVID STOCKDALE
v Notts County - JAMIE GREEN/ DREWE BROUGHTON
