'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Sharps 'we deserved point'

Rotherham United's stand-in captain, Ian Sharps says that his late (very late!) equalising goal on Saturday was 'probably lucky.'

Speaking to MillersWorld, the twenty-eight year old defender said, 'The goal came off my hip. Fenton's shot was going a couple of yards wide and it was just lucky that it went in off me to be honest.

'Dagenham are a good team and their two front men caused us problems but their 'keeper made three or four good saves. In the end we got a point and that's what matters and I think we deserved it. We don't want teams coming here and winning.

'Luton and Bournemouth are both big games but are both winnable. We have to go to Luton with the right attitude and make sure we do it.'
