RUFC - Taylor on his move to the Millers

Rotherham United's latest signing, twenty-one year old midfielder, Jason Taylor, has told the Official Site that he thought it was time to make a move from Stockport.

'I know the manager has been watching me for some time,' Taylor said, 'and as my contract was running down at Stockport, I thought it was the right time to move.

'I've been down to have a look at the set up and I have been very impressed. I'm moving down a division but I don't see it like that. I feel this club is moving forward and I wanted to be part of it. I've been told we have a great set of lads who are very professional and I am hoping for a long and successful spell with the club. I've been and had a look round Don Valley and it's impressive, although not the ideal situation. But the pitch is in excellent condition and it looks like a good home until the club move into it's own stadium.'

Good luck Jaybo. You have a prospect there Millers. Please look after him. You will always get 100% from this guy and I think he may become a crowd favourite for you. Remember, he is still only 21 and he will improve so give him some leeway if his control occasionally lets him down. Like I say he will improve. He may also pop up with the odd goal as well. Bit gutted we lost him but will be looking out for him and looking on this site for reports back! Cheers , Greyhound SCFC
