RUFC - Robins on injuries and transfers

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins says he is delighted that there is competition for places in his team at the moment.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, he said, 'We are getting players back from injury - a couple played in the Reserves win over Scunthorpe this week and we hope to have them in contention in the next couple of games. Andy Warrington looked sharp but David Stockdale will start on Saturday and then his loan ends. Pablo Mills probably has some way to go and then he has competition for his place but we know what Pablo can do at his best. He's been working really hard in training after his operation. It's good that we have competiton everywhere for places.'

Speaking about new signing Jason Taylor, Robins said, 'Taylor was a much sought after player in League Two. He has great energy levels and is a leader and an organiser and is only twenty-one. He's going to be a really important player for this club both now and in the future. And it's good to see how the level of training has gone up with a new face in the camp.

'It's a busy and important week for us so transfers are on the back burner this week but if the opportunity arose to strengthen, and we were able, then we will do it. We've had one or two questions asked about our players but nothing concrete.'
