'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'it was a big step but...'

Rotherham United Manger, Mark Robins, said that the win over Bournemouth on Saturday was a massive step but says that relegation fears have not disappeared yet.

'It was a good three points,' he told The Star, 'but we haven't done that particular job yet. We still have to concentrate on moving forwards and going upwards.'

He spoke to The Daily Echo about Bournemouth and said that he thinks they are going to find it very difficult to make up the points on the teams above them. 'They've got to win three or four more games than one of the teams above them and that's going to be tough. But we have Grimsby next week so hopefully we can do them a bit of a favour.

'You have to feel for the teams that started on minus points this season - it was always going to be a race between the three of us. I'm just grateful we got off to a good start because the longer it goes on the more difficult it becomes.'

Bournemouth have appointed caretaker boss, Eddie Howe, as Manager until the end of the season today.
