'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Nicholas on tonight's game

Rotherham United defender, Andy Nicholas says that everyone is looking forward to tonight's game against Scunthorpe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

'I don't know much about Scunthorpe,' the twenty-five year old told MillersWorld, 'but I know in the last couple of years they've been a strong side. The gaffer had a talk to us about them but really, we are thinking about our own game. We will play similar to what we did on Saturday and we are going to enjoy it. It's over two legs so we want to keep it tight and we are going full of confidence. We hope to put on a good show against another team that's in a higher division that us.

'We had a bad spell which was tough and we were conceding a lot of goals and we started to question nearly everything and the gaffer looked at everything and talked to us. And, I think we showed good character to get back from that. We've started to score goals and keep clean sheets again and we've put it all behind us now.

'The fans have been fantastic and we're taking around two thousand to Scunthorpe so it will be a great atmosphere for us and we are looking forward to it. We've beaten the favourties twice already in the competition and we hope to keep that run going.

'You can't really keep thinking about Wembley because we still have to win these two games.'
